A) Moving to San Jose, CA to work for Cisco Systems

Q) What is your favorite SCMA memory or biggest takeaway from being a part of SCMA?

Q) What are your plans after graduation?

After graduation I plan to travel Europe for a couple months and then come back in time to move out to California and start my full time job with Cisco in their Global Planning and Fulfillment division.

Q) What is your favorite SCMA memory or biggest takeaway from being a part of SCMA?

The best part about SCMA is getting to know new people and making great friends, while also helping setting people up for success in their careers after school.

Q) Name one thing you have left to check off your bucket list before you graduate from MSU

Before graduation I want to finish launching my site OurColledge.com that aims at helping students excel in college and their careers after graduation. I also want to tube down the Red Cedar River while thousands of rubber ducks follow me. Both would be nice.

Q) What are your plans after graduation?

A) I will be working in the Optimized Operations program at 3M in Minneapolis after graduation.

Q) What is your favorite SCMA memory or biggest takeaway from being a part of SCMA?

A) My biggest takeaway from SCMA is the importance of the network you develop.  In SCMA, you’re joining an organization full of highly motivated students that are eager to professionally develop themselves.  We are the future leaders of Supply Chain and as we emerge into full time jobs this network becomes even more important.  Additionally, some of my closest friends are individuals I met through SCMA.

Q) Name one thing you have left to check off your bucket list before you graduate from MSU

A) One of my MSU bucket list items is to eat at every cafeteria one last time before graduating.

Q) What are your plans after graduation?

A) After graduation I will be joining AbbVie in their Operations Development Program located in Waukegan, Illinois and living in Downtown Chicago!

Q) What is your favorite SCMA memory or biggest takeaway from being a part of SCMA?

A) SCMA has given me many opportunities to meet employers, network with other supply chain professionals, and improve myself as a leader, but the biggest thing it has given me is my best friends. I joined SCMA my sophomore year and since then SCMA has given me countless friendships that have lasted even with distance. Many of my friends have graduated and moved across the country but we remain in touch. It is true that you pay dues for membership, apparel, Spring and Fall Trip, social events, and more, but what you get in return is a network of people who would do anything for you personally and professionally. My college experience would not have been anywhere near as amazing without SCMA.

Q) Name one thing you have left to check off your bucket list before you graduate from MSU

A) One thing that I have left to check off of my bucket list before I graduate is try every flavor of ice cream at the MSU Dairy Store.

A) After graduation I will be working for Lockheed Martin in their Operations Leadership Development Location.

Q) What is your favorite SCMA memory or biggest takeaway from being a part of SCMA?

A) My favorite memory from SCMA is all the trips I have been able to take. I never expected to have the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C., Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh and other locations during my time in SCMA. Getting to see what companies and opportunities these cities offer was an incredible experience. My biggest takeaway from SCMA is an incredible network of people. SCMA has provided me with an opportunity to connect with meet so many people. We have MSU Alumni from companies all over the country returning to recruit MSU Supply Chain Students and a world class faculty that has helped make MSU the #1 Supply Chain Program in the world.

Q) What is your favorite SCMA memory or biggest takeaway from being a part of SCMA?

Q) Name one thing you have left to check off your bucket list before you graduate from MSU

A) One thing that I still have left to check off my bucket list before I graduate is to go to Europe. I have plans to do this, but unfortunately, it’s going to happen right after graduation. I am taking a graduation trip with some other students from Michigan State to a few countries in Europe.
