FMI Scholar Katja Oklejas together with Peter Carras took 5th place honors at the 8th annual Broad Business Model Competition. Their start-up TrackOR is an application designed to insure no foreign matter remains in a patient’s body following a surgical procedure. More than 20 teams participated in the competition that took place on April 20, 2018 at the MSU Union. Katja’s and Peter’s placement earned them a $1,000 check to invest in their business.
