Professor Helen Dashney, director of the Financial Markets Institute (FMI) and director of corporate academic relations for the Department of Finance, was honored March 27 by the East Lansing Rotary Club. Rotary awarded her the Community Vocational Excellence Award for her creation and leadership of the FMI, which provides a superior learning enrichment opportunity for competitively selected undergraduates who seek employment in investment banking and consulting.
