Understandably, there is great concern about the situation being created by the novel coronavirus, which can cause a respiratory disease known as COVID-19. I want to thank you for your patience as we continue to find ways to modify our procedures at both the college and university levels.
Please know that this situation is dynamic and evolving. The MSU campus community is working hard to ensure that we make the right decisions to address the well-being of our entire community and the continued success of our students.
With MSU’s decision to move to virtual instruction on March 11, there have been a number of resources made available to support our students, faculty and staff throughout this transition.
The Broad College has created an FAQ page to provide information for current and prospective Broad students and their parents. We provide information on how students can continue to receive academic advising, Broad admissions process changes and more. This information is available at broad.msu.edu/coronavirus and will continually be updated as necessary.
For up-to-date information for the entire MSU community, I want to direct your attention to msu.edu/coronavirus. Here you can find information about events, travel advisories, health implications and more. MSU has also made a toll-free hotline available at 1-888-353-1294.
In addition, resources to help MSU faculty teach remotely can be found at keepteaching.msu.edu. All of these resources will also be continually updated with the latest information as it is made available.
The Broad College of Business and MSU are fully committed to minimizing disruptions to ensure ongoing student success. As always, our highest priority is the well-being of students, faculty and staff in our Spartan community.
As we all continue to navigate this uncertain time, please remember to support and uplift one another and show value to all members of our community.
