This week, supply chain management faculty members attended the CSCMP Educators conference in Orlando, FL. Three MSU SCM faculty members were recognized for excellence in the supply chain management profession at the conference.
Yemisi Bolumole was awarded the Bernard J. La Londe Best Paper Award. The award is presented each year to the most valuable paper presented in the Journal of Business Logistics
. In order to be considered for the prestigious award, the paper must be published in the Journal of Business Logistics.
Jason Miller was awarded the E. Grosvenor Plowman Award. The papers accepted for presentation at the Educators Conference are reviewed by the Editorial Review panel to determine which one contains the best research. The award winner is recognized for their contributions during the conference.
Matt Schwieterman was named an honorable mention for the Doctoral Dissertation Award. Dr. Schwieterman was named an honorable mention for his dissertation entitled Customer and Supplier Portfolios and Their Impact on Firm Performance: Three Essays.
