On Tuesday, March 13 Rick Garced visited Michigan State University providing an interactive presentation on wines crafted in the South of France.  The audience included students and faculty from The School of Hospitality Business as well as several Lansing area hospitality professionals. 

The “Master Class” presentation involved an educational description of wine production in France, as well as a tasting evaluation of 10 Gerard Bertrand Wines. Gerard Bertand is a former French professional rugby player,whose 14 family estates in the Languedoc region of France produce award winning wines. Rick Garced is currently the Vice President of Gerard Bertrand’s North American Division.  Rick is also the President of the US Sommelier Association.
