The Broad College of Business Executive MBA program honored its latest class of graduates at its commencement March 11 at the Wharton Center. Additionally, the class honored its professors of excellence, as voted by each cohort.
Frederick Morgeson, Eli Broad Professor of Management, received the Professor of Excellence Award from the Troy cohort, while Stephen Schiestel, fixed-term faculty in finance, was honored by the East Lansing cohort. They each will receive $2,000 from an alumni-established endowment.
The ceremony included brief remarks from Dean Sanjay Gupta and class speakers, as well as a commencement address from program alumnus Ray Scott, president of the Lear Corporation.
