Our critical research drives business forward.

The Institute for Business Research (IBR) serves as the hub for externally funded research within Broad. Our mission is to empower our nationally recognized Broad College of Business faculty to conduct the forward-thinking business research that matters.

To do so, we identify opportunities for externally funded research and guide faculty through the competitive proposal process. We connect Broad faculty with faculty across campus, MSU research entities and external funding agencies.
