Witness first-hand one of the wonders of the modern world, the Panama Canal

This 7 day cultural and experiential tour will take students to Panama where they will witness first-hand one of the wonders of the modern world, the Panama Canal.  Since it opened in 1914, the Panama Canal has been a marvel of engineering and one of the world’s most important trade assets. Roughly $270 billion worth of cargo crosses the canal each year. It serves more than 140 maritime routes to over 80 countries.  Students will learn about the history of the region as well as learn the role the Panama Canal plays in global logistics and supply chain management.
