  • Biography
Aaryn is the Director of Marketing & Communications of the Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He comes to the institute as a seasoned, committed storyteller, connecting audiences with vibrant content and focusing the spotlight on the work of MSU student venturers. Although a strict adherent to The Chicago Manual of Style, he’s still permitted to talk to the press. Alongside his team of wunderkind interns, he is the executive producer & co-host of the Burgess Institute’s podcast, Hatchcast.

Although he’s not technically a Spartan, Aaryn is a native Michigander. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English and Literature from Central Michigan University (2001). Discovering that Mount Pleasant is a misnomer, Aaryn moved to Colorado in 2001 to live amongst (and hike) actual mountains. While in Colorado, he earned his Master of Fine Arts in creative writing at Colorado State University.
