Broad College appoints new leaders ahead of 2024–25 year

To kick off the 2024–25 academic year, Eli and Edythe L. Broad Dean David Souder announced three completed searches for leadership positions within the Broad College of Business.

Associate Dean of MBA and M.S. Programs

Ayalla Ruvio

Ayalla Ruvio will serve as Associate Dean of MBA and M.S. Programs. Ruvio’s research focuses on applied consumer behavior, exploring topics such as identity and consumption, retail trends and consumer psychology. She has been instrumental in the development and success of the M.S. in Marketing Research and Analytics program, spearheading corporate engagement and curricular innovations. As associate dean, she will be working closely with program directors and department chairs to ensure the success and alignment of our MBA and master’s programs.

 

Associate Dean of Faculty and Administration

Ranjani Krishnan headshot

Ranjani Krishnan

Ranjani Krishnan has been appointed Associate Dean of Faculty and Administration. Krishnan is a distinguished scholar in management accounting and operational management. Her extensive research portfolio includes publications in leading journals, and she has received numerous scholarly and professional accolades. In her new role, Krishnan will oversee academic human resources, college budget and financial planning, and the management of centers and institutes, among other responsibilities.

 

Interim Chair of the Department of Marketing

Forrest Morgeson

Forrest Morgeson now serves as interim chair of the Department of Marketing. Morgeson, currently an associate professor and co-director of the doctoral program in marketing, brings a wealth of experience to this role. With a distinguished background that includes his previous position as director of research at the American Customer Satisfaction Index, Morgeson is an expert in customer satisfaction, marketing strategy and the intersection of marketing and finance. His impactful research and extensive consulting experience, combined with his contributions to major academic journals and media outlets, position him well to lead the department.
