Broad MBA Organizations for Students of Color

As people of color and business professionals interested in pursuing an MBA, we understand that there are many factors that influence your decision of where to attend business school. One critical factor in your search could be fit within a program’s culture. By contacting current students, you can get first-hand answers to your questions! These students were recently in your shoes and would be glad to discuss your options and their experiences at Broad.

Black MBA Association

The Black MBA Association is comprised of both current and past MBA students who wish to enrich the learning and social environment of all current students and to increase the representation of black students within the Broad MBA program. This association will provide career development initiatives and create social and cultural awareness within the community.

Multicultural MBA Association

The Multicultural MBA Association is dedicated to fostering a community among ethnically diverse students within the Full-Time and STEM MBA Programs. One of the major factors of choosing an MBA is to gain global perspective, interact with people from different backgrounds and enhance cultural exchange. The Multicultural MBA Association helps students form this bond.

The Multicultural MBA Association’s goal is to help members navigate the MBA journey. There are several annual association events aimed at preparing members for upcoming courses, job fairs/conferences, interviews and the challenges of being an MBA candidate.

MSU Resources

MOSAIC: The Multicultural Unity Center

We work for what we can’t see yet. Our sights are set on something just beyond the horizon: a university whose students, faculty, staff, alumni, and administrators recognize the ties that bind us all together and repair our relationships with one another.

MSU Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives

We build capacity through continually providing the community with the knowledge and ability to create and maintain a diverse and inclusive community/learning environment; facilitating full commitment to MSU’s core value of inclusion, while advancing and upholding the highest standards of practice in diversity, equity and inclusion.
