Black MBA | Multicultural MBA | Career Support & Recruitment | Programmatic Leadership Support
As people of color and business professionals interested in pursuing an MBA, we understand that there are many factors that influence your decision of where to attend business school. One critical factor in your search could be fit within a program’s culture. By contacting current students, you can get first-hand answers to your questions! These students were recently in your shoes and would be glad to discuss your options and their experiences at Broad.
The Black MBA Association is comprised of both current and past MBA students who wish to enrich the learning and social environment of all current students and to increase the representation of black students within the Broad MBA program. This association will provide career development initiatives and create social and cultural awareness within the community.
The Multicultural MBA Association is dedicated to fostering a community among ethnically diverse students within the Full-Time and STEM MBA Programs. One of the major factors of choosing an MBA is to gain global perspective, interact with people from different backgrounds and enhance cultural exchange. The Multicultural MBA Association helps students form this bond.
The Multicultural MBA Association’s goal is to help members navigate the MBA journey. There are several annual association events aimed at preparing members for upcoming courses, job fairs/conferences, interviews and the challenges of being an MBA candidate.
MSU’s Broad Full-Time MBA is a core partner with MLT and participates in their in-person seminars and programming events.
MLT provides the coaching, business acumen skills, and networking relationships that transform high-potential underrepresented talent into high-impact leaders.
MLT’s MBA Prep Program provides African American, Latinx, and Native American professionals with personalized guidance and effective tools to successfully navigate the business school application process and optimize their MBA experience. The MBA Prep experience includes two years of personalized coaching and five in-person seminars where participants enhance their skills and build relationships with business school admission officers and recruiters from more than 60 top corporations and social sector organizations.
We are proud to be a core sponsor school of MLT. In addition to the MBA Prep Program development, fellows receive Broad MBA mentoring and opportunities to participate in high-impact leadership activities.
