The Broad Care Center is a free resource for all students, faculty, and staff affiliated with the Eli Broad College of Business. The center offers quick snacks and essential hygiene, menstrual, and household items to help reduce stress, support student success, and promote community well-being.
According to the 2020 Michigan State University Student Health Assessment, 40% of students were classified as food insecure (Hembroff, 2020). Difficulty accessing essential items causes stress and diverts students’ focus from academics. While valuable resources like the MSU Food Bank exist on campus, the Broad Care Center is dedicated to bringing these crucial supports closer to the Broad Business Complex community, making it easier for students, faculty, and staff to access what they need.
To get items from the Broad Care Center, you can either place a mobile order for pickup or book an appointment with one of our team members to browse and choose items yourself. To place an order or book an appointment, please use this Qualtrics Form: COMING SOON!
